Robin Brous, Director of Early Childhood Services, Associate Executive Director
Robin’s background is in education and camping. She holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration, a New Jersey Principal certification and elementary teaching certification. Robin has been at the JCC for over 20 years. She began in the JCC preschool, directed Camp Yachad for 13 years and currently runs the JCC’s Early Childhood Services Department in addition to serving as Associate Executive Director.

Leslie Fleischman, Assistant Director of Early Childhood Services
Leslie was a pre-K teacher at the JCC for five years and the Nature Specialist at Camp Yachad. In September 2012, she moved into the role of Assistant Early Childhood Director, broadening her scope of involvement for our families and children. Leslie holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, and her creativity and imagination always shine through when she’s working with children. The JCC has been a meaningful and lively community center for her and her family for many years.

Randi Sosny-Handler , Early Childhood Learning Coordinator
Prior to her current position, Randi was a JCC preschool teacher, a Camp Yachad counselor and a Parent Committee Tri-Chair. She has her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her MA in Elementary Education from New York University. She has also been an associate publicist, a teacher at a national lab site for Teachers College Reading and Writing Program and a staff developer who trained teachers in literacy subjects. She has been a member of the JCC community for six years and feels lucky to be able to give back to a place that means so much.

 

Steve McGarr, Director of After School Programming
Steve’s background includes four years in the U.S. Army and 16+ years of corporate experience in marketing, logistics and customer-focused programming at Swatch, MAC Cosmetics and Tommy Hilfiger. Steve looks forward to bringing the skills he gained in the corporate world (creativity, attention to detail, organization amd customer service) to his new position as the Director of After School Programming. For the past two years he has been the Transportation Administrator for Camp Yachad. When Steve is not working, you can find him spending time with his niece and nephews, with his nose in a good book or spending his weekends at the beach with his family.

Ricki Solomita, Early Childhood Administrator
Ricki’s background includes 25 years of experience in Human Resources at the Sherwin Williams Company. She has worked in administration at Camp Yachad and the Early Childhood program for the past ten years. She currently coordinates all administration, purchasing and customer service in the Early Childhood Department.
