Chaverim, in Hebrew, means “friends.” This summer camp unit is where we welcome new friends into the Camp Yachad family. Chaverim day campers spend their days in a nurturing, structured indoor/outdoor camp program.

It’s Chaverim – It’s Fun!

• Campers begin each day with a spirited “Boker Tov” good morning activity
• Groups are staffed with a minimum of 3 counselors
• Camp groups are based in air-conditioned classrooms
• Campers participate in an instructional swim program
• Campers have a balanced schedule of age-appropriate activities, including
  sports & games, arts & crafts, music & movement, Judaica, nature,
  gymnastics and more!
• Special events and theme days are an integral part of the Chaverim calendar
• A lively Shabbat celebration concludes each week

Staff  Adult Unit Director supervises staff and campers. Adult Senior Counselors who are certified teachers supervise each group. Assistant Counselors and CITs (Counselors in Training) support each group. Professional specialty instructors are also on hand to make your child's summer day camp experience the best it can be!
