Our EC community has naturally come together as a strong support network for each other through both formal and informal networks. EC Cares is the more formal support that our community offers. EC Cares provides service opportunities for our school community. In addition, EC Cares delivers meal gift certificates to families who have a new baby, have experienced a major life event or might need help. The committee also works to arrange carpools and play dates when helpful. If you know anyone in need or anyone who has recently had a baby, please let us know.
This committee assists with New Parent Night and serves as a liaison for parents who are new to the school. The committee will also welcome the parents of the January 2s when they start in the winter.
For this event, parents organize and plan a book sale of books donated by fellow EC families. Students are able to 'shop' the book market, and all proceeds go to the school.
This JCC event is held in October and is a chance for members of our community to enjoy fun fall activities ranging from a petting zoo to outdoor games.
