Jordyn Barry, Director of Teen Outreach and Engagement, joined the JCC of Central New Jersey in January 2015. In this position, Jordyn plans and executes Teen Action Service Corps (TASC), a leadership and philanthropy program for high school students. In addition, Jordyn is the assistant delegation head for the JCC Maccabi Games, she coordinates middle school social events, supervises the JCC Youth Theater Group and coordinates the counselor in training (CIT) and leaders in training (LIT) programs at Camp Yachad. Prior to working at the JCC, Jordyn worked as a sixth grade Jewish Studies teacher and staffed many trips to Israel through the Legow Family Israel Program Canter at the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest. She received her BA in Religion and History from Muhlenberg College and her MA in Jewish-Christian Studies from Seton Hall University. Jordyn also studied abroad at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, Lutheran College Washington Semester in Washington D.C. and Salamanca University in Avila, Spain. In her spare time, Jordyn enjoys traveling, reading and watching baseball.
