As an 8 year employee of the JCC, Courtney Teicher is thrilled to have joined the Early Childhood Leadership team as Children’s Services Program Coordinator. Courtney graduated from Kean University with a B.S. in Psychology and a focus on Child Development. Her love and passion for children started early on, with her first job in Staten Island as an Assistant Teacher at a school for children with multiple disabilities. She continued her career at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center as an Early Intervention Specialist for the Department of Social Work. Courtney then went on to lead the development and implementation of the Child Life Program in the Pediatric Emergency Department at the Komansky Center for Children’s Health. Outside of the JCC, you can find Courtney spending time with her husband, two young children and puppy.
