Swab to Save
Sunday, January
11, 10:00
am – 2:00
pm
In honor of their friend
who was recently diagnosed
with leukemia, two local
teens have worked to coordinate
Swab to Save which will screen
for bone marrow matches for
any individuals in need. A
key defense against leukemia
is a bone marrow transplant. The
test is a simple cotton swab
on the inside of your cheek
and does not require you
to give marrow in the event
of a match. You must
be 18 - 60 years old to get
tested.
