Camp Yachad Programs

Important Dates for 2006:
Session 1: June 26 – July 21
Session 2: July 24 – August 18
No Camp July 4
Campers must register for a minimum of one session.
JCC Membership will be prorated in January for new camp families. Additionally, builders’ fund requirement will be waived the first year. Youth/Teen Memberships fulfill the membership requirement for Tsofim, Na’arim, Chalutzim and Tiyulim Travel Camps.
Chaverim Unit: (ages 2 1/ 2, 3, 4, and 5)
2 1⁄ 2 year olds, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 am - Noon
3 year olds, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
3 year olds, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
4 and 5 year olds, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Yeladim Unit:
(4 year olds, entering Kindergarten and 1st grade)
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sabra Unit: (entering grades 2 and 3)
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Olim Unit: (entering grades 3 and 4)
Introduction to travel camp program
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Two days of day trips, three days on site
Tsofim Unit: (entering grades 4 and 5)
Recreational and outdoor experience travel camp program
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with the exception of late night trips and overnights
Na’arim Unit: (entering grades 5 and 6)
Recreational and outdoor experience travel camp program.
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with the exception of late night trips and overnights
Chalutzim Unit: (entering grades 7 and 8)
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Day trips and extended 2, 3, or 4 day overnights
Tiyulim Unit: (entering grades 9 and 10)
Monday - Friday, extended travel, home on the weekends!
East coast excursions with sightseeing, recreation and interactive experiences. A teen membership to the JCC satisfies the membership requirement for the Tiyulim travel camp program!
Camp K’ton
Mini Camp
Program:
(campers entering preschool 3’s, 4’s,
kindergarten and 1 st grade Fall 2006)
Monday June 12- Thursday, June 22,
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Recreational mini camp program which includes arts and crafts, sports, music, nature, swim instruction, daily theme activities and all around fun.
Camp Yachad Swim Level Testing Dates
Camp Yachad campers are encouraged to come in for level testing before the first day of camp. Campers who don’t get tested will be placed in the same level as last year, or will be tested during their swim period and then placed in an appropriate class. By testing your camper early you can make sure your swimmer will start off in the right stroke. If you have any questions please call the Aquatics Office at x 219.
