This powerful documentary about Hannah Senesh is a story of tragedy and courage which unfolds with unprecedented access to the Senesh family archives. Senesh was a poet and diarist who became a paratrooper, resistance fighter and heroine. During a 1944 mission to rescue Hungary’s Jews, she was captured by the Nazis. Her mother witnessed her ordeal, first as a fellow prisoner and later as Hannah’s advocate.
Guest Speaker: Susan Beer, Holocaust survivor and fellow prisoner of Hannah Senesh.
