There are so many ways to support our JCC. These
committee chairs generously donated so much of
their time, expertise and ideas to ensure that every
facet of our center remains relevant, current and
serves our community as best possible.

2015-16 Committee Chairs
A letter from our President and Executive Director
This year marked the JCC’s 110th Anniversary, and we can proudly say that our JCC is as strong as ever!
In 2016, we enhanced more lives, enrolled more members, engaged more seniors, educated more children and
entertained more adults, youth and families than ever before – and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Thanks to your donations
, we were able to do so much more to support our community. We provided
scholarships to families in need and expanded our programs for children and teens with special needs. We added
a part-time social worker and extended our Senior Program to a much needed fourth day. We provided free
membership to all 7th graders in the community and offered free programs to new parents and their infants.
Thanks to your leadership and countless hours volunteering
, we began work on a Strategic Plan that will
be finished in 2017 and launched Chai Society, our JCC’s first planned giving program in partnership with Create
a Jewish Legacy. Both of these were designed to put our JCC on a path to sustainable growth and secure our
community’s strong future.
You brought your interests to the J and asked for opportunities to bring your friends together
you love to do. You brought over 100 people to our first ever Couples Bowling Tournament, 60 of your friends to
an intimate performance and talk with musical legend Steve Katz and close to 100 people to a lively mah jongg
party. Together we attracted record audiences, secured higher sponsorships and generated more excitement than
ever before to signature programs like the Jewish Film Festival and University Lecture Series.
Thanks to you and our caring community
, together we inspired people to become healthier, more active and
more involved. We created opportunities for people to learn, to meet others and to unite with their community.
We mourned losses together, celebrated mitzvahs together and supported our community…together.
You are proof that community is at our center, and we’re proud that more than ever,
there’s something special
about this place.
On behalf of our Board and Staff, we want to say thank you. We are so thankful that our JCC is filled with such
dedicated staff, motivated volunteers, generous donors and members who are deeply committed to our community.
It is your kindness of spirit and generosity that has made our JCC so strong and inspires us to work hard on behalf of
our community every day.
With gratitude and excitement for all we will accomplish together in the year ahead,
