future generation JCC

• Teen Action Service Corps

(TASC), our teen leadership

program in its 7th year,

boasted 55 teens who

volunteered, attended

workshops and learned how

to become leaders.

• We introduced our free

College Prep Series which

provided teens and parents

an invaluable resource as

they navigate the college

admissions process.

• In February, we presented

The Little Mermaid

starring

44 2nd – 8th graders. Over 950

people came to see one of

the three performances of

this colorful and lively show.

• There was also a lot of fun

throughout the year! Teens

went skiing/boarding. 6th –

8th graders played laser tag,

went snow tubing, had a

scavenger hunt, went to

Bounce Factory, Funplex and

ice skated. 3rd – 5th graders

were in on the fun too with

Cupcake Wars and Game

Show night.

• At camp, CITs (Counselors in Training) were a force! They worked at camp, participated in leadership

activities, played pool volleyball and competed in our first annual Dodgeball Tourney!

• Our teens were awesome at the Maccabi Games! 14 swimmers went to Junior Maccabi and won four gold,

ten silver and eight bronze medals. Our Maccabi Delegation in Stamford, CT included swimmers and

basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis and lacrosse players – plus an ArtsFest participant! We won a total of

38 awards in swimming, baseball and girls’ lacrosse.
