This year, over

850 campers

and over

300 staff

came together to create the magic that is Camp Yachad. And thanks

to the generosity of our donors who support our financial assistance and camp shadow programs, 35 campers in need and

40 campers with special needs

were able to enjoy that magic too.

2015 Highlights:

Our 7th and 8th grade travel campers spent four days visiting

Mickey Mouse and friends in Disney World!

Our long-time tradition,

Dunk the Whale

got an update...we put a dunk booth on the campsite so now more campers

can gather ‘round to see counselors dunked into water!

Our youngest campers splashed around in our

new zero-entry pool

which opened in time for

summer 2015.

Building on the great success of our Summer Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA) which used to serve 5th – 8th

graders, we expanded our performing arts camp to now include 2nd – 8th graders. We created a new

Dancers Pointe

and renamed the program

JCC Performing Arts Camp (JPAC).

For the first time, we offered a lead-in to the camp season for children with special needs. In

partnership with

Throwback Sports,

Adaptive Sports Camp

was a great success and helped build skills, confidence and

physical ability for

campers with special needs.

We also had more year-round events than ever to keep

camp friends connected all year long!
