L.I.T Program
(Entering grade 9)
Flexible 2, 4 and 8 week options available

The Leader in Training program is designed to give valuable hands-on leadership skills needed to be a successful camp counselor. L.I.T. participants will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a leadership group on honing communication skills, developing trust and engaging in creative thinking. L.I.T.s travel (day trips) several times per week and one extended (2 nights/3 days) overnight trip per session.

What L.I.T. has to offer!

• Develop leadership skills with Jewish values
• Workshops with professional speakers
• Plan and execute camp special events
• Facilitate specialty programming
• Day trips to area theme parks & attractions and extended overnight trips
• Weekly social action and teambuilding projects both on-and off-site

L.I.T.s successfully completing at least one session of the program are accepted to work in camp the following summer as a Counselor In Training (C.I.T.)!
