JCC Membership Information:
Onsite Camps (Chaverim, Yeladim, Megalim, Sabra, Olim): Annual JCC Family Membership is required.
Travel Camps (Tsofim, Na’arim, Chalutzim): Youth/Teen Membership fulfills the JCC Membership requirement.
Payment Information:
- A $300 nonrefundable deposit is required for each registration (per child).
- At time of registration, a payment plan option must be selected. Options are:
- Pay in full at time of registration— pay by cash or check and receive a 4% discount on total camp tuition (after applicable sibling or staff discount).
- Set up monthly autodraft: bank draft or credit card equal payments spread out between month following registration through June (e.g. register in December with $300 deposit, monthly autodraft January-June, 6 equal payments of tuition remainder).
- A sibling discount of $25 will be given to all other children in the same family attending camp each session.
- The JCC offers the following payment options: cash, check, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Prior to March 15, 2010, you may receive a refund of all funds paid except the nonrefundable deposit(s). If enrolled in the monthly autodraft payment option, JCC will retain 3% of total camp tuition paid prior to cancellation. After March 15, families will be responsible for full camp tuition unless there are extenuating circumstances, which may include the family moving out of town, a severe medical problem, or a life-altering event such as a death in the family or job loss. If families opt to withdraw from Camp Yachad or choose another program due to any other reason, not extenuating, they will be responsible for full payment. No registration changes will be accepted after March 15, 2010.
Registration Procedure:
Monday, December 14, 2009 Current JCC Member Registration
• Mail-in registration for families who are JCC members in good standing by December 13, 2009.
•Those renewing JCC Membership or joining as new members after December 13, 2009, will be able to register for camp on or after January 11, 2010
• Applications received by mail or in person before December 14, 2009 will be held and processed on December 14, 2009
• Applications received by mail or in person after December 14, 2009 will be date-stamped and opened in order of receipt
• A non-refundable $300 deposit (per child) and payment plan form are due upon registration
Monday, January 11, 2010
New JCC Member Registration
Families who join the JCC after December 13, 2009 may register for camp. None of these registrations will be processed prior to January 11, 2010.
• New families may become members and register at this time
• Beginning January 11, applications received by mail or in person will be processed
• A non-refundable $300 deposit (per child) and payment plan form are due upon registration
Financial Assistance
The JCC makes every effort to ensure that no child is denied the opportunity to attend camp due to financial hardship. Scholarship applications may be obtained at the camp office. All applications are confidential and will be given equal consideration. The application process is on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified by mail of any assistance being offered. The JCC of Central NJ is a constituent agency of the Jewish Federation of Central NJ, United Way and the United Fund of Westfield. Financial assistance is available for membership and various programs.
