Join Marty Shore, urban historian, as he leads us through the sites of Jewish religious life in the remarkable urban settlement of Harlem, which was once the second largest Jewish community in the U.S. Delight in exteriors of Jewish synagogues of Harlem such as Temple Israel of Harlem, Oheb Zedek Synagogue and many more. On this tour you will be shown places that you never would have noticed on your own. Tour guide will be on our bus, but there will be stops and some walking required.
